Gault&Millau's review
Anne-Sophie Pic's Parisian restaurant has a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere, and thanks to her local brigade, she offers her delicate cuisine in four different formulas. At €159 and five courses, you'll get a good idea of her meticulous, slightly demonstrative but highly successful work. The squid tagliatelle, spaghetti squash and vegetable jus with sweet spices set the tone, followed by the chef's signature dish: berlingots with Meaux brie, Drôme chestnuts and meadowsweet and mace velouté (the whole thing was a little less mellow than hoped). The three chef's hats were again featured on a yellow pollack rouelle cooked translucently in a green suit, brocoletti à la flamme, drizzled with a delicious beurre blanc with juniper, sage, rosemary and caper leaves, before the tender Challans duck, impregnated with eucalyptus and radicchio root, rosehip, pomegranate, full-bodied jus, closing with itakuja chocolate soufflé tart, mango confit, passion fruit sorbet. Good feminine service, all-region wine list with a focus on the Rhône region.
